Not Wearing Costumes

Part of an officially licensed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collection for RSVLTS. Ninja Turtles man. Since that fateful day some time back in the late 80s when my dad took me to a small NYC comic shop and I picked out Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #16, my fate was sealed. I have every single issue from that original Mirage Comics run (although my #1 is well loved 6th printing, the rest are first printings) Nothing in the pantheon of pop culture will EVER come close to those 4 mutant brothers. Nothing. And now with the help of my amazing team at @rsvlts, another dream comes true. Scouring through every page of issue #1, I marked my favorite panels and went to work. I painstakingly recreated @kevineastmantmnt and #PeterLaird's gorgeous artwork and assembled it into the pattern you see before you. The turtles mean everything to me and so many others and this is my love letter, my thank you to Peter and Kevin. This brand new #TMNT collection features 5 AMAZING new shirts; 3 based on the original Mirage Comics and 2 on the original cartoons. All made possible by the hard work and dedication by the RSVLTS team. The comic based shirts all feature an exclusive Eastman and Laird commemorative patch and neck label that I was fortunate enough to be able to design too.
