Coconut Pete 7" Vinyl

Fully licensed 7" vinyl LP soundtrack from the Broken Lizard movie, CLub Dread. I created the artwork for the entire album in conjunction with Enjoy the Ride Records. A limited edition pressing of 500 copies went on sale January 26th and sold out almost immediately. The record was available in 3 different color variants; crystal clear, clear with a white splatter and brown with white inside. This is a greatest hits album by the fictional legend Coconut Pete, played by the late Bill Paxton in the Broken Lizard (Super Troopers, Beerfest) cult classic "Club Dread." The plot of the film revolves around - Coconut Pete - a musician who had a hit record years ago, but now runs a tropical island resort where he spends his days basking in hedonism with the rest of the resort's offbeat staff. The paradise Coconut Pete presides over becomes a living hell when an unknown killer begins slaughtering the staff. As the body count increases, suspicion arises among the survivors. It's up to Coconut Pete and what's left of his staff to solve the mystery and stop the bloodshed. Featuring brand new artwork from artist Ian Glaubinger, each album includes a digital download card and a printed inner sleeve with lyric sheet.
